As much as I always talk to B2C companies about the concept of branding, that’s the only true way to stand out in this market today. With you being one in a million of others in your same industry, like digital marketing courses for example. But finding your potential customers by creating a raving fan audience is the secret. How does one create raving fans? Well, look at a companies who have done that very well, such as Apple. They’re always a few steps behind Android electronic devices every year, yet they have some of the most loyal and outspoken fanbase.

Best approach is spreading the one piece content you create through each medium. For example putting video advertisements on YouTube, cutting a snippet on LinkedIn-Facebook-Instagram, transcribing the video to publish on a blog, all while redirecting each place to your pages. Almost like a lead generation, creating a buyers journey and customer experiences. All while giving your websites traffic to track the analytics and collect data to improve the marketing effort.

The world today is always looking for social proof. I mean let’s be honest when was the last time you did a background check on someone? You more than likely just stalked their social media pages to do your check right? Customers do the same thing checking how many followers, likes, comments, etc. True engagement is hard to fake, so doing the work researching what your audience wants and being a value-based content marketer will never go away. Another big trend we saw in 2019 and will continue is influencer marketing. Partnering with a local social media marketer to help push your product, yet not coming off sales-ie is the goal, right?
